Why Paleo

250x250-paleo-keep-calmI’m a tall guy (6′ 3″) and because of it I can carry a lot of weight and it doesn’t necessarily look like I’m overweight – but I am.

By BMI calculations, I am obese at 31.5.

I don’t smoke. I drink socially. I walk and ride my bicycle now and then, but am probably what you’d call fairly inactive.

For work I sit most of the day behind a computer.

Today is day #1 of my Paleo Diet (or maybe better put “new lifestyle”). And no coincidentally there are 100 days left in the year 2013.

I probably weigh in at 252 lbs. I’ll make this official in the next couple days, but I don’t have a weight scale at home that I believe is accurate – or maybe it is!

Day 1 – Breakfast

Day 1 – Breakfast on the Paleo Diet

Two eggs, onions, red peppers, and banana peppers.

No cheese. No bagel.

Super easy to make and it took about 10 minutes total.

Tasty and quite satisfying.

This might work!
